Prosthodontics is a dental specialty that deals with cosmetic restoration and replacement of teeth. It includes diagnosing and treating patients with missing teeth to ensure the patient maintains a good oral function, comfort and look whether through the use of dentures, bridges or restoring implants.
Periodontics is a dental specialty that deals with the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of gum disease. Due to a periodontist's extensive training they are swift and efficient when it comes to detecting any signs of the commencement of (severe) gum diseases. Our periodontist offers treatments such as scaling and root planning to tackle any gum diseases.
Endodontics is the dental field that is involved with the treatment of the dental pulp, which is the inside of the tooth (nerves, blood vessels, other soft tissues). One of the most common treatments related to this dental specialty is root canal treatment which involves removing infected pulp from the teeth and closing it up again.
