Considered one of the UK’s leading periodontists, Dr Nikos Madras qualified from Athens University in 1992 and went on to gain his PhD in 2005 from the University of Aarhus, Denmark.
From being a senior lecturer and coordinator in Periodontology at UCL, he moved to QMUL, Barts and the London School of Dentistry, where he became a consultant in Periodontology.
Nikos is accredited as an Educational Supervisor for Periodontology Speciality Trainees by the London Deanery. He’s also an Associate Specialist Periodontist and Implant Surgeon in private practice.
Having published dozens of articles in Periodontology, Nikos is also a board member in Clinical Oral Implant Research and regularly reviews journals in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry.
After winning the Basic Research Prize in 2011 from the European Association for Osseointegration, he lectures internationally and nationally.
He is an Academic Advisor for the British Society of Dental Implantology, a member of the British Society of Periodontology, Osteology International Experts Group and the Association of Dental Implantology UK.
Nikos provides all aspects of modern periodontal treatment to the highest standard and has done in universities, hospitals and privately for over 20 years.
